There has been a construction work in the back garden, banging from 7.45 am till about 5 pm. Photos are very old and don't reflect reality on any websites, the hotel has been rundown, definitely overpriced!

My wife and I where very dissapointed with this hotel it is very rundown the swimming pool was in need of some serious renovation also the swimming pool was in the middle of a construction site of which none of this was mentioned when I booked the hotel at the end of September last year we had booked for 3 weeks but after a week we had enough of the constant noise from morning till night and asked be moved to another hotel which was arranged very quickly

This is a nice clean hotel if you need to stay near to the pier and if you get a deal on the price. But to me, this place was way overpriced at 2000 THB/night (incl. breakfast) which is what we paid per room in the high season. On the positive side, rooms were big, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed, including a mini-fridge and coffee/tea maker. Although unwelcoming at first (no friendly, smiling "Sawasdee ka" here), the staff eventually warmed up and were helpful, although not great with English. The pool was quite good and the back area was green and quiet. However, I was shocked when we arrived to find the hotel building is directly on the road, not set back a way in. Our "sea view" rooms overlooked this road and we were constantly disturbed by the unpleasant sound of loud motorbikes and other vehicles. Noises interrupted our sleep and baby's napping. We asked to change but nothing was available. Also, the bathrooms were big and clean but my toilet blocked up and the other room's shower was broken. Unlike other reviewers, we were not impressed at all with the restaurant. We found it pricey for mediocre (at best) food. Also, it is right on the road, so also loud. Walk around the corner for tasty, cheap local eats. For a 2-star hotel, this place was very good, but not worth what we paid. Aside from the pier, there is not too much here to see or do.
