Nantra De Deluxe

The resort looks way different then pictures. It is old, most of the things require some renovation, and the rooms smelled really bad. We took a villa with the private pool so the view was very nice but the beach is unfortunately with a black sand and rocks. Not really a place where you want to swim. Beer at the restaurant is very expensive but the food is decent and fresh. The resort is far away from everything and getting there and to some other places is quite expensive. We booked 7 nights but after 2 we decided to check out.

A really quiet place with breathtaking view of the bay. Extremely helpful staff taking really good care of you. Very nice and well kept pool. Don't come here if you expect noise and bars and amusement. But if you seek solitude and a truly hospitable and very Thai experience you could not do better. Rooms where clean and tidy. We loved it!

Here is a honest review It's out there on a fisherman's beach in the middle of nowhere. That being said and realizing this isn't a brand new build and your near the jungle and you might see geckos and mesquitos also might see wild peacocks on the beach along with amazing sea shells ... So here are 2 sides from my perspective. Downsides 1. Cost alot to get there from the airport or go into town cost even more 2. Restaurant is Abit pricey - keep in mind it's in the middle of nowhere and you can bring your own supplies food drinks etc etc so plan ahead to have a great experience and save money! 3. False advertising about a free trip to the emerald hot springs .... Was told not enough people to go but spoke to another guests and they told them the same thing when they needed 6 people and we had that many people that wanted to go.... And the other guest we're told the same thing maybe they decided they didn't want to go and I was not in the loop , who knows .... Plus sides. 1. Amazing bath tub and bathroom 2.Great sized villa 3. Well maintained grounds and pool 4. Amazing outdoor views and outdoor space on the villas with with outdoor bed for lounging and relaxing long pond 5. Great tasting food 6. Friendly and helpful staff 7.rooms are very clean My overall review would be this if your looking for a secluded get away look no further this is the spot for you. If your looking for nightlife, packed beach with big waves and people and no wildlife then you might want to look somewhere else.....
