Muanmanee Boutique Hotel

I was quite impressed with this hotel for value for money the lady who runs it was very welcoming and showed us where to park our motorbikes. They is also a coffee house as part of the hotel for the morning the room was clean the showers were good I would recommend.

Spent four nights in this lovely little place, very clean and fresh. very nice staff. Room spacious with a VERY comfortable bed and 6, count them 6, pillows and 2 cushions. Room had nice long desk, kettle, hair dryer, 2 pairs of slippers and 2 robes. Area very quiet but a short walk to the main road for many restaurants etc. Hotel has coffee shop but no food. Covered parking available but it's a small area and blocking others/being blocked is common and involves being disturbed/disturbing others to shunt vehicles around. The only minor complaint for me. Anyone carrying a notebook would be advised to invest in a long USB cable to enjoy favourite entertainment on the TV screen. Local TV only good for Thai speakers. Next visit to the hotel already planned!

We reached Muanmanee around noon, the hotel and surrounding were nice and clean, no body was in the receptionist. Then a male staff came in to help us checked in. I gave him the booking confirmation and he made a phone call. He can not speak English so I just gave him my passport and he gave me a check in form to be filled. Just did the standard way for check in when language is the barrier. He helped to bring our luggage to the room in 3rd floor, No Elevator. The room is very nice and clean. Surprisingly, there were International TV channels (i.e. English, Chinese), first time I saw in Loei hotel. The air conditioner worked well and cold. The complimentary water was placed in the refrigerator. Sandals, bathrobe, towels, toiletries were provided and all are in good quality. All the lights were functioning. The shower and toilet are separated with wall. There are some bicycles for guest to use too. It is easy to get local food like chicken / duck / roast pork rice, noodles and meatballs. There are also local cafe and steak house near by. This hotel is located in the city center but not located on the main road and there is not big signboard to show its location, it may be quite difficult to locate for the first time. For the tips: there is a red sign board of "Thai Village Hotel" on the main road, turn inside it. " Soi 3 Nok Kaew Road" is located in between AIA insurance office and Loei Hospital. The minor inconvenience is that shower has weak water pressure. Keep up the good work Muanmanee....
