Na Loei Boutique Resort

There is a glut of hotels calling themselves boutique hotels in Thailand right now and what it means usually is a new, clean place where everything looks good but doesn't really work. This is one of many of these types of hotels I've stayed in the last couple years and they all seem to share the same traits. This one is pretty far out of town (9k's) up a small soi and next to a building under construction (another constant in Thailand). Its OK for what it is, good view if you ignore the slums of the workers built just down hill of the hotel, but forget about the TV, the WIFI and free breakfast none of these will work. The big flat screen might have three fuzzy Thai stations. The WIFI doesnt work at all. The breakfast consists of instant coffe and toast your own 7/ 11 what bread.
