The bathroom was large, clean and bright. The rooms are reasonably spacious but staircase very steep for handicapped. Bed very hard! No breakfast (though coffee available on an upstairs bar/terrace). Friendly proprietor but prices on the high side for standard of accommodation. However the a/c worked fine and the rooms were clean.

Friendly enough, but practice your Thai first. I was starving after a long drive and although they have a restaurant supposedly, it was closed. This was at 17:00. There is a very good restaurant across the road, but again... practice your Thai. Bathrooms were of a good standard. At this time 02/2019 it is undergoing major construction expansion which looks like it’ll take a while. Beds are a bit hard and squeaky so beware if you are planning some boom boom :) Tiny TV and zero English channels. WiFi in my room was very poor, but I could get a signal at the restaurant across the street??? No security that I could see, but the wee dog at the entrance is friendly enough. Lots of plug sockets in the room which is a helpful change to many places I’ve stayed in. Room was very clean and everything worked.

Hotel is in good location particularly if your visiting Phu Ruea for Poinsettia festival. There are rooms and bungalow/lodges; we stayed in the latter. Description said room has ‘a view’. Shower was unpredictable. Breakfast was ok but everything cold including fried eggs on a ‘chilly’ morning. Overpriced by Thai standards
