The Muk Lagoon

We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of April 2018 in a Family Room,which was,in fact,two large inter connecting rooms. We had a double bed and 2 single beds plus 2x TV,bathroom,aircon,fridge,balcony etc. Both rooms were of a decent size.The beds were comfortable and the aircon and shower both worked exceptionally well. For 1100 baht per night in total,I thought this was great value.The hotel was quiet and peaceful and we hardly heard a sound from other guests. They also have Standard,Deluxe and Master King rooms where prices range from about 400-750 baht per night,depending on which you choose. On the downside,there is no breakfast but there is a small Freshmart mini market on site where you can stock up with things like water,milk,beer,yoghurts,coffee,biscuits,crisps,ice cream etc. Also,you will need your own transport as there is nothing in the near vicinity.Robinsons,Big C and The Friendship Bridge are 10 minutes drive away and the Indo China market and restaurants by the Mekhong river about 15 minutes drive. The staff at the hotel speak limited English,but are very friendly and we would certainly come to this hotel again on our next trip to Mukdahan.

Cannot complain for 400 baht a night. Clean and nicely decorated. WiFi point right outside room so great signal. Good parking and somewhere to eat takeaway deliveries. Coffee shop closed but handy fresh mart in building for beer. Would stay again as handy for getting to bridge. Friendly staff. Washing machines. Restaurant across street.

We booked a family room at this hotel we found the rooms to be very big both rooms had tv,s and fridges with a connecting door between them perfect for a family the rooms were clean and for 1,100 baht for both rooms what more can you ask for but you would need transport to get into Mucdahan as it's approx 5 km to indochina market etc
