Wangree Resort Nakhon Nayok

We’ve just wrapped up a few incredible weeks at this resort, and it honestly exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome—always warm, attentive, and ready to go the extra mile without ever being intrusive. What really stood out was the consistency—everything from the cleanliness of the rooms to the quality of the food (all from their organic farm) and the service remained top-notch throughout our entire stay. It’s rare to find a place that delivers this level of care day after day.

Being a previous client about 10 years ago I was looking forward to a great experience again, turns out we were not happy.... We arrived, at about 14:15 and was told the salt sauna was going to close at 16:00 vice the posted 18:00 and the price per person was 500b each, so we paid for 2 nights at 1400b per night and we choose not to use the sauna that day. At check-in we were told to follow a women motor-bike driver to our room, it was at the other end of the resort, we did and when we got to the building she pointed to the room and drove off, NOT even offering to assist with the luggage! Upon entering the room it had a bad smell of mildew and we were the only occupants in site.... (with the resort near empty, why put Us here?) Also after unpacking we found out there was no internet in the building, only in the restaurant and lobby! Not to be put off, we opened the windows and turned on the a.c. and left for a early dinner. Dinner was ok. The room still smelled, but much less, so we stayed and booked the salt sauna for tomorrow morning. When got to the sauna I was told I cod not rinse off before entering and after I exited the sauna and rinsed off I could not return to the sauna for a hour. Looking at the "Dip Pool" which was full of leaves I decided to not use the sauna, we packed our bags, ate a good free breakfast and checked out and got our money back for the second night, no questions asked why... I had always wanted to return to this resort since I had such a great experience before....

We walked in to the hotel. We stayed in the Bangalore. It was quiet at night. The room rate was 1,400 Baht The room was clean but old. The hotel was safe. The staff were friendly. The food was good. It is far from city’s center.
