Rachaphruk Grand Hotel

I guess this place is a relic of the past - dated & tired! It was pretty clean & comfortable; everything worked ok in the room & you certainly couldn’t complain about no hot water - there was plenty even when tap on cold😳? Pool & gym both were ok, gym equipment relatively new. Wifi was good as was the location to Terminal 21; not sure where downtown was - but quick tuk tuk ride to a number of good restaurants. Relatively expensive for a double room - 1755 baht p/n inc breakfast.

The Hotel is quite a grand building and can be seen easily from Korat Centre. It's very close to Terminal 21 and Big C, although crossing the road is sometimes difficult. The Hotel is very clean and all staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is fairly extensive (buffet style) and eggs are cooked to particular tastes. Our Room was spacious and clean. The towels were fresh and the TV had good quality images. The Hotel is a little dated and perhaps could do with refreshing but we felt that it was not very busy so perhaps it is currently difficult to justify expenditure on a refurb? I went to the pool but it is much smaller than I expected. There is a small gym near to the pool which has a range of fitness equipment and weights. A plentiful supply of fresh towels are available for use in both the gum and pool. There are lockers available too. I would recommend this Hotel but suggest the price per night could be reviewed.

Myself and colleague stayed here for one night only. It was OK for what we paid and the beds were certainly comfortable and the room quiet. Yes it is looking a bit old and tired, but the shower was great and the provided Thai/Western breakfast set us up well for the following day. It felt clean and the staff were very eager to do anything they could to help us. It is in a great location with easy walking access to Terminal 21 (Very very large fantastic shopping centre)(less than 5min walk)
