Hommuenlee Hill Resort

Not recommended as there’s no facilities nor anything that excites the holiday. Just individual standalone rooms. No restaurants nor Massage and far from town. Not convenient if no transport. Reception speak/listen/understand least English.

Stayed in two rooms for one night in December 2016. Rooms are of a good size but need some refurbishment. Curtains had some minor stains, one bathroom had a leaking sink. The toilet in the other bathroom almost flowed over. One room smelled as if somebody had smoked in there. Warm water supply was rather poor. Receptionist was helpful when we checked in. She spoke English - probably the only English-speaking person at the hotel. It was, for example, very difficult to explain to restaurant and breakfast staff that our son is a vegetarian. Maybe this was because the waitress preferred listening to her iPod when taking our orders and serving the food. When we checked out, the receptionist took the keys and disappeared without saying a word; we waited for a while but then left (without invoice) as she did not show up again. The hotel is close to a main road, so it can be quite noisy at times. But the worst was that they play some kind of "department store music" throughout the compound - day and night when we stayed. My wife was unable to fall asleep, so she got up at half past twelve, woke up the guard until they finally switched off the music. Location: if you want to visit Khao Yai the hotel is to far from the northern entrance. Depending on the traffic situation in Pak Chong it can take up to 45 minutes getting there.

My husband and I needed a place to stay for one night and we have a small dog. So we decided to stay here mainly because it allows dogs to stay and we've read some good reviews. The room was OK. the problem was the bathroom. The sink took forever to drain, it's disgusting. The water from the shower was very faint. It took us double time to shower. One good thing we've experienced was the fast wi-fi. Lastly, it was not mentioned that we need to pay THB 500 extra for the dog. Overall, we were not impress with the room and we will not come back nor recommend this place to anyone.
