Nongkhai White Hotel

This is what the same as its name,for all decorated in room are white including in bath room.That made the room wider and brighter.We booked connecting room and it's good for our children because the glase door between two rooms let us see them easily.The hotel was a bit far from city center,and it's located in small alley.

It's about an hour ride from Udon Thani. The hotel has green garden surroundings which is pleasant and makes a grand entrance. The hotel has not many facilities or boasts of interesting architecture, but is quiet and has a resort-like feel. Reminds me of Cameron Highlands, tucked away from the city. The hotel is about 20+ km away to the border to Laos (Vientiane), which you can do a day-trip (good to have a fellow compatriot who is familiar the customs, transport and maybe places to see across the border). Hotel rooms are decent, relatively clean (though there are lizards and mozzies). Expect not-so-hot water, no hairdryer, a few toiletries (they have towels) and not many TV channels. Overall, good for a few days stay. Nearest Tesco Express/ 7-11 is 3km away- take a Skylab. Also, I strongly recommend to visit the Nong Khai night market along the Mekong River. A few good hours you can spend there. The staff at reception has difficulty in English.

Stayed here in June 2013 the September 2013, The hotel itself is quite new The rooms are very large with private balconies Lcd TV mini bar etc. Ample parking and a selection of shops close by. 15 mins drive to the Friendship Bridge and the restaurants along the Mekong River are all within easy reach. If your after a hotel that is stuck away from the hustle and bustle then this is the ideal. Buffet style breakfast is served with a choice of traditional Thai or western options, fresh fruit coffee toasts etc.
