We stayed here for two separate nights on either end of a boat trip. The price was extremely reasonable and we were very pleased with the value. The room was basic, but very clean. (The king size bed room is quite large.) The breakfast was basic, but it was made fresh and it was free. The beach is right across the street. The staff here were so very very nice to us. There are many fancy resorts in Khao Lak, and if that is what you're expecting, this is probably not for you. If you are looking for cheap and cheerful night or two, then I think you'll be pleased with the value.

If you want to travel to khao lak you have to go to the Khaolak golden place! The rooms are really nice, clean and you will have everything you need. It's about 2 minutes to the beach. The hotel is in a quiet nice area, there are some restaurants and small shops. To the city it takes about 5 minutes by car or motorbike. The Hotelmanager Wuan there is just amazing!!!! He is such a friendly guy, he takes care about his guests, help with some trips, hire you a motorbike. He speaks English nearly perfect. We had a really great time in this hotel, we love it and we will come back for sure if we travel again to khao lak. Thank you for everything - kòbkûn ká!! We will see us again for sure!!!!

We stayed here in February 2019 two weeks. Room was basic but in few days there where so many ants in the ceiling and in the floor corners. We told that to man in reception and told that it is uncomfortable to sleep because there were ants also in the bed. All he said is he is sorry and he will tell housekeeper in the morning. Also there where two times when we have been in the beach and when we came back our room door was open. We asked about it and when the second time happened I was really angry and wanted some refund. The same san in reception said he is sorry and they are going to fire housekeeper who forgot to shut the door but no refund for us. It was really humiliating when the receptionist talked us like we don’t understand and very patronising way.
