Fantastic hotel, nice and quiet beautiful swim-up room. I definitely recommend getting the swim-up room well worth it! The room was huge with a bathtub, exclusive modern finish bathroom, comfortable king bed, etc. etc. The buffet breakfast was excellent and dinner was good as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful. One can rent a scooter to get down to the swimming beach or get to town or I saw that they had bicycles, which we did not use. You can walk only five minutes over a small bridge to be on the beach for the beautiful sunset. Moreover, I enjoyed the gym for a workout on my last day. Once again, the pool and swim-up rooms are spectacular! Very nice “romantic get away”without the annoying drunken & stoned crowds of foreigners found down in Patong. 5-Stars from Griff!

The Coral Beach Resort is a 4 star hotel (they say 5, but that's not the case), of a generally good standard, with a very large swimming pool and comfortable rooms. The area is very quiet. There is no access to the beach. A canal separates the hotel from the beach, although it is less than 50 meters away. The hotel has suffered from Covid and it absolutely needs to renovate many areas, including the swimming pool. The current breakfast is average for a hotel of this type. A buffet would be more appropriate. I give "5 spots" because I see very well the efforts made by the hotel to satisfy its customers, as well as the current quality-price ratio.

The swimming pool is poorly maintained, if at all: in fact, there are boards and catelles in poor condition or missing. Only 2 umbrellas for the entire pool! A shame, when it's 33 degrees outside... And that contradicts the photos on the site! Lunch Ok, nothing more, but limited menu.... Overall the hotel is poorly maintained! The café next door is closed and abandoned. The outdoor jacuzzis are empty of water and no longer used. It's really borderline, even for a 3 star... When it should be 5! Only the rooms are up to par (more of a 4 star than a 5). Wifi works variable... Clearly there is a lack of competent staff who speak good English. In short, we are more in a 3 star than a 5 star. Look at the photos: they are relentless.
