We spent the first 8 days at the wonderful and beautiful Baam Karon resort (recommended). Upon entering the room met the stink of old mothball pension, darkness, apparently to avoid seeing dirt and old furniture. There's a roller curtain on the window that I've decided to open, and there's a window that hasn't been washed much. Room 2 has shabby chairs that you could only sit on with a towel. The closet smelled like old age and mold, you can't put things down. The shower is old, dirty curtain and dark. Fortunately, even though breakfast wasn't taken in this dump, I only saw lines for them. No one's moving the staff, people are standing with plates in the heat. Ordered a mojito, waited 20 min)))) there was no one else at the bar. Well, it's so that it's clear at all. I'll add, I don't spend my vacation in my room and I only go back there to sleep, but I didn't even want to do that in this place. Saved a sleepover trip to phi-phi, and on their return escaped from this Kata miracle. I didn't want to spoil my impression of the stunning Phuket, so moved to a beautiful clean apartment on Karona , which I booked on booking. The reception staff, of course, scoffed the day they left. Are you leaving? You still have many days paid for. You didn't like the room? There was no answer, offered the director of their hotel to live there, where we were checked in. Curtain. Don't spoil your holiday. Apart from the beautiful green area, which is not a credit to the hotel, there is nothing to be happy about. Sadly, for not a little money, put people in such rooms (even the language does not turn to call it a number ). By the way, the baan I mentioned above cost the same, but they are not even comparable. Relaxed for a week in a bungalow. The hotel is difficult to call a simple condo with a cleaning and breakfast option. We had a suite but there were no plates and no cutlery and when we asked if we could borrow they said no. The cleanliness of the rooms was abysmally bad there was a paper on the floor in the kitchen and a Q-tip in the bathroom that it took over a week before they picked up. When we went home we wanted help with ordering a taxi to the airport but they couldn’t do that because they didn’t work between 24.00 and 07.00 and we needed to leave at 04:00. Very poorly cleaned out and very worn and broken.
