This hotel has a fantastic location and otherwise friendly staff. The standard is decent, but it’s an older hotel that feels closer to 3 stars than 4. Having been to Thailand before and stayed at several hotels, we know well what to expect. Unfortunately, our stay was ruined by two terrible female employees at the reception. It is unbelievable that they are allowed to work with that kind of behavior. Our child suddenly became very ill overnight and had to go to the hospital. We asked for a late check-out, even offering to pay for it, but they were completely unwilling to accommodate us – despite several rooms being available. That in itself could be understandable. However, it was the way they communicated, showing no empathy and being rude, that made the situation completely unacceptable. Because of this, we cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.

We sadly only had one night at this hotel but it was fabulous. Great location and loved having a poolside room so could nip in and out without having to go up and down stairs or take a lift. What was standout at the hotel was the staff who were all fantastic. We had a double booking by mistake and Nuttapon the reservation manager was fantastic and couldn't have been more helpful at sorting it all out quickly. Highly recommend staying here.

Relaxed at the Phuket kata resotel from 15 to 26 November 2025. The hotel arrived at 5 a.m. local time, checked in only at 2 p.m. At 6 a.m. on November 19, they left for a two-day excursion to the Phi Phi Islands. Back at the hotel on November 20th at 6pm and horrified, our room 205 flooded. The room contained only sneakers, a backpack and sandals in the sand and water. The hotel staff took all our stuff out of the room, thank them for that. The suitcases were wet, everything in the suitcase was wet. We were denied clothes. We've been moved into another room. I found my watch missing, I reported it to the reception, promised to ask the maid. The next day, no action on their part, they also promise to ask the maid. We turned to the hotel guide of our tour operator "Anex" to Anna, did not receive any help from her. The main thing is to sell the tour, and then whatever you want. A man came up by chance and asked if we liked the hotel, so I told him my story. Only then did they move. They asked for a watch and a check, even though I bought them in 2021. Also missing is cash of 1500 rubles and 2 Russian bank cards. Cash $, passports and union card were always carried. They promised to refund the watches through a tour operator when the bank approved the insurance. Today is November 27, we are back in Russia.
