In our opinion, the best place in Phuket, a calm and family-friendly location, but 15 minutes from Patong, 1 hour from BanTao and its famous beach clubs (Carpe Diem, Catch) and many others, 20 minutes from Rawai and its grill restaurant (Costa Grill) where Jean Pierre and Damien will do everything possible to make your stay enjoyable. Don't hesitate to use the Grab, Bolt, or Drive'in apps for your transportation. Good stay!

Overall, not a great experience here... The view, which is most of the reason my group booked this place, is amazing. Definitely the best part. The pool on the balcony was also great! The actual rooms were decent as well, with a few small maintenance issues. The place is at the stop of a very steep hill, but it really wasn't that bad to go up and down as long as you're in some kind of shape. Most cars and shuttles were willing to pick you up at the top of the hill, as well. You're a little ways from the beach, however, so walking there is maybe 20-25 min or so? Not too bad but this is definitely not beachfront. However, I would not recommend staying here unless you absolutely MUST have the view. Why? Well... - The listing that we booked said that it had a hot tub (this plus the view were the main reasons we booked here). Upon arrival, we couldn't get the hot tub to heat up, and it was absolutely filthy. When I talked to the front desk, they told me "it doesn't have a heating system" despite being labeled as a hot tub and that "the nearby monkeys" must be the reason the hot tub is dirty. I did not see a single monkey while we were there and I just think it wasn't cleaned before we arrived. - you WILL be charged a lot for electricity. Mind you, we were mostly gone during the day as well, and when you leave the electricity turns off. The AC doesn't actually have multiple settings, either - whatever temperature you set it to it just defaults to "extremely cold." The AC is also so loud it's hard to sleep with it on. - There is a flat 2500 baht cleaning fee that isn't mentioned until after you book your room. - They insist on taking a 10k baht security deposit, only in cash, when you check in. Also not mentioned until later and after booking. Theoretically, you get this back, but between our electricity charges and the cleaning fee, we saw 0 of it again. - Terrible customer service from whoever is the Whatsapp correspondent. After having been there for 2 days, I received a message saying that a couple of days BEFORE we had checked in, maintenance had noticed a loose floor tile that was a "safety issue." They asked to move us to another room... without the view. I said "no thank you," but then they kept insisting we move. Please note that they did not offer to just come in and fix the tile, nor did they fix it before we checked in despite having multiple days to do so. After a very unpleasant conversation in which I had to tell them in no uncertain terms that we would not be moved to another, significantly worse room after booking this room 8 months in advance and flying 20 hours to get here, they finally let it go. I honestly think they just wanted us out for some other reason (another guest wanted the room, maybe?) and were using the loose floor tile as an excuse. In conclusion, I would stay somewhere else unless you're willing to put up with all of the above for the killer view.
