Friendly people, especially Tata! You can book tourist tours just in front of the hotel with really good prices. The hotel is close to the shopping and the center, can do everything walking. Or you can rent a bike and get around. Nice and cheap place to stay.

So far I have been staying with Good Nice 2 for about 2 weeks and this has been my experience: During the day there is constant noise from construction happening next door. This isn't Good Nice 2s fault but worth mentioning for anyone looking to stay here in the near future. Not long after the construction workers go home and you just start to enjoy the peace and quiet, a local this bar starts up next door and gets progressively louder until 2am or so. If the noise alone isn't enough to annoy you, the mosquitoes in the the room and bathroom sure will do the job if you are the kind of person that has a bad reaction to them like myself. Right next to good nice 2 is a river which often has the stench of sewage. Also in the 2 weeks that I have been here from what I can tell, the bed linen has not been changed once, children seem to do the daily cleaning of the rooms. The towel rails are broken and there is a hole in the bathroom ceiling that hasn't been fixed. If you are looking for a room with a balcony, be cautious as your view may be another hotel located only a few feet from your balcony. The room comes with a safe, telephone and torch all of which don't work. The wifi how ever is rather good, with routers on every floor. Speaking of floors, my room is located on the 4th floor, and there is not elevator so if you are in for a long stay like myself. You will soon get fit after running up and down them all day long. On a positive note, the staff have been rather friendly and welcoming each day and there is a very nice lady running the tour guide store out front that does a great job of taking care of the laundry service. There is a place to get a massage as part of the hotel but I never actually see it open or anyone in there. 4 days after we arrived we were told we had to pay for the accommodation which seemed odd as usually we are asked to pay on arrival or departure. When we asked the person at reception she said everyone pays on arrival, when we told her that this is all well and good but why didn't she take care of this when we arrived rather than 4 days later she suddenly had a case of I don't understand English but I know exactly how much money you need to pay, which anyone that has been to Thailand will have encountered more than once. There is a fridge in the room which is nice, however a jug for hot water and coffee would have been expected. There is however a jug and coffee on the ground floor but its better to just take the 5 minute walk down the road to Starbucks or the family mart next door. Over all Good Nice 2 just seems to lack on maintenance and and the basis that you would expect to find even with a low budget accommodation.
