Patong City Hotel Phuket

Location is 10/10, the best beach around, 7-11 at walking distance. Rooms are big but property is old so you may not find it very clean. Big pools as shown in pics. Check in took little time for us else it was good. Buffet had some vegetarian options of fruits and breads. Service was average, it was worth the price paid ( was cheaper than other equivalent hotels). I will recommend it to others, because of location, you can't get better location for Patong beach, which is the best beach there.

The hotel location is off the busy Patong but is still easy to access anywhere by foot.. There are good massage shops, mini mart and cafe just outside the hotel. It takes about 15 minutes to go to Bangla road, shopping centre and night market on foot. Staff is friendly and wifi is also good. Love the nice swimming pool and room with the pool view. The room n bathroom was clean and well equipped. I was there on the off-peak season, I didn't experience anything unpleasant. They also serve a simple buffet breakfast, Overall, a nice stay for me.

Thinking of booking here? Don't bother. The hotel is pretty poor. We had an issue with out hotel room key - it failed to work FOUR times and we had to take the lift down to reception on each occasion to fix it. Then they called the engineer, who has to fix the door (each time!). The staff speak little English and are mostly pretty rude - especially the Russian woman. One chap was nice enough. Breakfast was very average. Facilities are poor - including TV and shower. Location isnt great - a 15 min walk to Patong beach and the bars. Seriously - dont waste your money, book somewhere else.
