Eden Resort Holiday Apartment

Avoid your stay here. Had nothing but trouble since I arrived. First day member of staff walked in the room who had a key with no warning and walked out again. Pest noises coming from the aircon which sounded like rats for 5 nights. Contacted the owner who came and had a look the next day and said pest control had been but couldn’t help with the noise. 3/4 men were walking around front and back of the apartment most nights. Contacted the owner wasn’t helpful she didn’t know who it was. Cleaner left the door unlocked all day after cleaning the room. Cockroaches in the room. No water. Did not feel safe here at all. Had to leave a day earlier due to the noise as sleep was no option. I’d definitely pay a bit extra to stay at somewhere better.

This is the most beautiful place to stay. The apartments are spacious with lovely ocean views. The family who run the resort are so very helpful and kind. It is a short walk into town being set high on the hill. I really can't fault the resort aside from the little hill walk but that's good excercise after the ice cream in town.

It is a nice quiet area. The appartement was spacious, well equipped, very comfortable king size bed, a nice balcony and a great view. To have a seaview appartement you have to stay at least on the second floor. Nice pool area. Restaurants and 7eleven or some other store are about a 15min. walk, also the temple where nightmarkets take place on tuesdays and saturdays is about a 15min. walk. The beach is a 20-30min. walk. Staff was friendly and kind. The only negative is the walk up to the resort, the last about a 100 meters is about a 10-12m altitude difference, but if you rent a scooter or use a taxi/tuk-tuk regularly for transportation around the island, then this problem dissapeares. Recommend it for a very good value for money resort.
