This place is not what is in the pictures. If you are from NZ, Aussie or similar, you prob would liken it to a backpacker. A bad one at that. Dirty. Run down. We did have great staff tho who seemed powerless to do anything. Ok, there isn’t tvs. There isn’t tea and coffee services. There is a pool but no bar (they’re using that to store rubbish now). The red pool mattresses you see in the pics are now white and mouldy. Holes in walls on roof top. Really disgusting guys. If you can’t walk up stairs there is no lift. Don’t believe them when they tell you there is. It hasn’t worked in years. It is a bit shady because it’s not where it says it is. And it has several different names. But none of them are what’s listed in WOTIF. The Brothers Residence is one name. The Sharaya Botique is another. Please write those down because without a phone bumber you won’t find it. It’s been two days and I wish we stayed somewhere else because now we also know that they hardly clean the rooms. I went and found a broom myself. And the poop in the toilet when I arrived. Is still there. My advice is to not book or expect what you pay for.

Booked online through booking.com after seeing the amazing photos etc of the hotel. When we arrived the place looked absolutely nothing like the pictures. To top it off it was extremely dirty with an unclean bathroom, dirty curtins etc. The lift was broken so we had to carry our suitcases up quite a few flights of stairs to get to our room. Should of known when the name had changed that something strange was going on. The pool - half of it was closed and completely in the dark. Looked again like nothing in the picture. Daybeds were dirty and very faded. No bar or cocktails anywhere in site. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. When we tried to get a refund and move they refused and pointed to signage about no refunds - but to their credit they owned another hotel and moved us there and that was much better. Great pool more like what we had booked, a lift that went and much cleaner.

Positives - Beds were perfectly fine and made each day. The room in general was average at best but fine for a night or two if you are a traveler(not if you're on holiday). Location is also a walk from a great food market and Patong Beach. No safety issues in the room. Negatives - Firstly, the pool is almost obsolete. Proceed on the basis that there is no pool. The water itself was clear, but the area surrounding the pool is not maintained nor safe for children. Litter and rubble everywhere - almost apocalyptic. The lift and other parts of the building have exposed electrics. Our aircon was leaking water to a point that we couldn't sleep with the noise and had to just turn it off. We had to ask for toilet paper mid-stay as this was not replaced after we used half a roll that we inherited when we checked in. No issues with over booking like others have stated but it doesn't surprise me.
