Kalim Bay Residence

Very pleasant, clean and well maintained. Perfect for plunging out of the oasis of tranquillity into Phuket life. The complex is separated from the beach by an admittedly busy road. But the pool area is very nice and if you want to go to the beach, you better go to Patong or Kamala anyway.

This is really a good choice if you need more than one room and want to do some self catering. A very well kept and safe property with a great pool. Much quieter than Patong with easy access to various beaches. No hesitation to recommend this.

We booked our apartment on Booking.com and were pleased with the lovely 2 bed unit we stayed in. The pool was great - a brilliant size and kept very clean. The apartment was cleaned every day except Sunday. The double glazing was effective at keeping out the sounds of busy coast road! The only slight downside was the building work that was going on (which we didn’t know about) so there was some noise at certain times of the day - and the bar wasn’t open which we also didn’t know about. I assume that because it’s their quiet season they don’t open the bar. You can order take away from the Nevermind restaurant next door which proved useful as it’s not easy to buy proper ingredients for cooking from scratch in Phuket - the 7/11 nearby only sells snack food.
