Never been treated so badly in a resort. €70 a night should include daily cleaning, or at least clean towels, a functional AC, and shower. Never been in a hotel where I had to buy my own toilet paper, and got laughed at for asking to get room cleaned after 5 days no cleaning. Owners have no clue about working in the hospitality sector. Seems they only learned to take money from guests, and the rest is not important to them.

We always love to come back to this resort. It has a very good price/quality value and a very relaxing pool. The staff and Michael, the owner from Germany, are very very friendly and became my friends. The situation is nice and quiet but with the motorbike which they rent out as well you are in no time at Rawai, Nai Harn, Kata, or Karon beach.

Smile House has a budget price in the heart of Rawai. Rooms front onto an inviting pool. The location is a few minutes walk up a quiet soy to the main road. It is a place of rustic comfort. The bar is a fun place at night, sometimes with live bands which set the place rocking. Bar and food service is fast and friendly. It is a great place to meet fellow travellers, local Thais and some regular members of the expat community.
