Very cozy bar, with fine Dutch food and snacks (did not eat Thai there). Nice bar where you are more than welcome, whether or not you want to speak Dutch or want to meet other Dutch people. Here you can also watch (Dutch) football and Formula 1. Staff is super attentive and location is top (near night market).

Experience with scooter rental through Say Cheese and not as a hotel guest. Both during last year's holiday and this year, there was a lot of whining about whether or not to return the rented scooter on time. The first time was paid for a week in advance and the day before the end I received several calls from the employee where the scooter was kept, which according to her should have already been returned. That was not correct and the owner said that evening when I spoke to him that as far as he was concerned the scooter could indeed have been returned the next day. Furthermore, no apologies or the promise that the staff would receive correct instruction. In good faith, I rented a scooter from Say Cheese again this year. And afterwards the same whining from the employee again, stating that the scooter had been returned a day too late. Normal practice is that if you rent a vehicle for a day, you return it no later than 24 hours later, as well as for multiple days. Apparently not at Say Cheese, so you pay an extra day. What is most disturbing is the very rigid attitude of the employee who cited the contract. The first time I was absolutely right according to the contract and the 2nd time there was no contract but the employee had only made her own note. By the way, not really cheap scooter rental at 300 Thb per day. And if you are then presented with the unfriendly behavior. Conclusion: a very unfriendly, rigid attitude and incorrect working method. There are plenty of other landlords. I don't go there for food and drinks anymore.

The food was ok and fine and the place also looks neat. But the owner Martijn is the same jerk as you know him from TV!!!! To gain brand awareness for his B&B and Dutch Friettenent, he participated in B&B full of love and not to supposedly find a woman. Business-wise he doesn't understand it at all and is only concerned with fat old Dutch regulars who are there for a sweetheart!!!! A kind word or welcome is just a small effort!!!! Still, good luck and success there, because he will need it.
