Thor Huahin 57 Hotel

We decide to rent the room here for the location. Everything seem new, the room and the interior. The room is spacious with a balcony which also spacious. No elevator, so will be an extra if you got the 2 or 3rd floor. They don't use the card system but don't worry about safety since they main gate to the rooms have security, and they have the access in every keys. The staffs was really nice, more the old lady in the receptionist, although don't speak english but very helpful. The only thing need to be improved is the water heater in my room didn't work and sometime they don't have staff available during the night. So we need to contact the number available on the office door if we need something.

I stayed 3 nights at Thor HuaHin 57 and loved my stay there. The only thing that had made it any better had been a pool to relax in :) The room and the hotel was very clean. The service was excellent and the room was cleaned daily, Good AC, cold fridge with free water and cheap minibar (40 bat for Chang), good shower, good wifi, very comfy bed, It is a walking distance from the night market, bar street, restaurants along the seaside and the beach.

Pros : very clean modern room - the cleaning staffs are doing a very good job. Very good centre location : 7 mins walk to the Chat Chai night market, 15 mins walk to the beach. 3 mins walk to the mini van going to/from Bangkok. 4 mins walk to the popular Jek-Be-Ak Seafood Restaurant. Good as a base to get you familiar with Hua Hin city. Cons : Small room, even to an Asian like me.The shower screen is fitted in a tiny space. I can't hardly turn while showering. No electrical outlet in the room. You need to unplug the lamp or TV for charging your phone or camera. They have 2 electrical outlet inside the bathroom though.
