Jansom Beach Resort

The stay at the hotel took place in December 2022. The hotel seems to have been forgotten and tarnished by time. Very large rooms with wonderful solid wood furniture. The service is very nice, but few people speak English. Tasty breakfast at a good price. Good rating

We had quite a different (much better) experience than what we read from past reviews. Our room was spacious and clean. We were amazed when we opened our room - the view from the private balcony! I felt like I was in Thailand, Greece and Newfoundland (Canada) all at the same time. The staff were lovely from beginning to end. Warm welcome, and they even helped us carry our many bags to our room, which we weren't expecting. We went out and when we came back, one staff member ran to our car with umbrellas! It's true that it's tucked away, which we LOVE, and we have our own car, so that wasn't a problem for us. I loved the serenity and the view and the fact that you have to drive down a long secluded driveway to get there. Breakfast was fine (Thai and Western options), but the view (full panoramic windows) made every bite more delicious. The beach is lovely, but yes, it does need a regular clean-up. It's a private beach so hopefully one day that will happen. But we walked up and down and saw some interesting fish. Same thing with the pool. It's a great size, interesting shape, great view, but it could do with more regular cleaning. (We felt safe enough to go in though). I would recommend Jansom because of its staff, the room, the balcony, the value for money, and the stunning views. I would also recommend it because of the beach, despite the garbage. We plan on coming back here! Thank you to the staff.

nod good experience with Jansom restaurant in Ko Phayam - very arrogant staff ( an older undfriendly woman ) - food was average, this place has a nice terrace but in other restaurants were very nice nice people
