Hop Inn Roi Et

We don’t have many Thai restaurants in the Toledo area, and the only one I knew of was a bit of a drive. I’d heard good things about Roi Et in Oregon, Ohio, so we decided to try it last night. The place wasn’t too busy but wasn’t empty either, and we were seated right away. Someone has clearly put a lot of love into the outdoor flowers—they look fantastic. Our server, a friendly young man, got us settled quickly and brought over a cold beer to start. For appetizers we ordered spring rolls and the fish patties. I really enjoyed the fish patties; my date found them just okay. For dinner we shared the green beef curry (lightly spicy and served with rice) and chicken Pad Thai with peanut sauce on the side. Everything was excellent—the spring rolls were perfectly crunchy, the spice level was just right for someone who prefers milder heat, and the beer was ice-cold.The whole bill, came to $64, and we still left with leftovers. Roi Et is clean, vibrant, friendly, and serves great food. Highly recommend. What more could you want?

My first experience of a Hop Inn it is a travel lodge sort of level. Largeish TV unfortunately only Thai channels as far as I could find. Decent shower bath room a bit small. Aircon was noisy than usual but that might a have been the unit. Bed was comfortable The big downside was noisy doors even shutting them slowly resulted in a ‘ bang’ The staff tried to be helpful. A spectacular plus was they were actually testing the emergency lights, if this was a result of the tragic hotel fire in Bangkok a week ago I don’t know. Would I stay again well I am at a Hop Inn Korate ( Thailand )

For a night or two it's okay , huge parking , nice staf and decent bedding . Indeed it is poorly soundproofed. But the people were discreet maybe just a stroke of luck. Watch out for your toes when leaving the bathroom it hurts!!! Coffee in the morning
