The Premium Residence

The Premium Residence Hotel Roi-Et City is an honest three (3) stars plus, hotel. Nothing was too much trouble for the super helpful staff, who helped me seamlessly checked in, settle down, connect through and check out of the hotel. With their excellent English plus Thai speaking / bilingual skills, they even assisted me with a direct onward bound reservation in Yassothon, as well my transport to the bus terminal. My room was comfortable and classy and same goes with my observation and experience of the reception area. Continental breakfast (self-serve, buffet style) was amortised into the price and it was solid. The grounds showcase some some lovey shrubbery and trees (including some skillful topiary) and for those with their own transport, I can advise that the car / motor bike parking is ample and secure. In terms of location, it is just off the centre of the downtown / city lake precinct. The museum is very close and it is no more than an easy, flat two (2) to (3) kilometers to other major attractions in the area (see my YouTube), including the Roi-Et Tower and the big tall Buddha at Wat Burapha Phiram. I hope to return to enjoy the amazing hospotalty here again, soon.

Bigger double rooms than in many hotels I stayed. Shower actually with good pressure. Cleanliness ok. Rooms very basic but for 500 Baht, you can't expect too much right? Basic breakfast with coffee, orange juice, toast and rice soup for 50 Baht extra, you can choose between two different styles of eggs. Pretty happy with that.

Hotel is okay for the price you pay few minor things like fittings but overall it's good.Hotel is tricky to find need gps I think I was lucky and shown way by my friend who is a local.because it's tucked away from main streets it is nice and quiet and you can easily walk to restaurants one surprising thing was the shower at first looks thought oh no but turned out to be excellent hot water straight away.dont bother with breakfast there not good.
