Hotel Prompiman

A seven-storey luxury hotel in the heart of Sisaket city centre. At first glance, the hotel's dignified exterior is reminiscent of the founding of Thailand's architectural bubble era in the 1980s and 1990s, and the lavish interior decoration of the guest rooms, which are fanned out from a distance, and made of plenty of wood, is impressive. Another unique feature of the hotel is that the spacious windows, which fill the width of the rooms, provide a good view. The dilapidated building cannot be obscured by its age, but it is reasonably well maintained and you can experience the good old days of luxury hotels. In addition to restaurants, the building also contains one disco and one bar, giving us a glimpse of the vestiges of the old provincial hotels that functioned as a center for cutting-edge culture, albeit a little too inconvenient at night. The fact that it is located along a railway line makes the occasional sound of passing trains, which I would rather positively rate as also inspiring travel sentiment. The fact that you can enjoy the tastes of the long-established establishment, although there is not much on the menu for breakfast, is also wonderful.

The worst hotel I can think of in Sisaket. After we got hit by a flood, we moved into this hotel, which turned out to be a huge mistake. I needed a quiet room, but they gave me a room on the third floor, right next to a high school building where a student orchestra played daily, and also on weekends. When It started to rain, my laptop on the floor almost got destroyed, because the water came through the walls! On the other side are a disco with unbelievably loud noise and the main road does the rest. The hotel is the worst I have been in Thailand and I've been living here for 20 years. My Thai wife fully agrees with all the above-mentioned details. There are much better places to stay in Sisaket. Stay away from this place, please.

Hardly a budget hotel, the standard is far below that and grossly overpriced for what it is. The room was filthy with mould growing throughout the bathroom, bed was rock hard and lumpy. Staff are rude and incompetent. Breakfast is only fit for pigs, unappetising and quite disgusting. WiFi was unstable and slow rendering it unusable. Don't have experience of other hotels in Sisaket but this is one to avoid.
