Khum Suphan Hotel

This is a Lovely Hotel, i had a one night stay here on the way to Dan Chang with my partner, a Great Hotel and location. Super Staff who couldn't be more helpful. The Breakfast was also lovely will stay again

Don’t expect anything much about this hotel, location good but hotel is old and some rooms (such as 724) quite noisy due to internal water pump. WiFi is considered fast enough, room condition I suite old and so so, not dirty but not too clean

My wife and I booked this hotel based on looking at photos and details we found online through Agoda. Upon arrival the hotel it looked nice but a bit older from the front. We went into the lobby and waited as no one was at the desk. After a short time a woman’s assisted us. They spoke no English on site and this was ok as we made it work to check in. We were provided our key to the room and went upstairs to the 7th floor. The halls were dark and carpets old and dirty. We went into it room which was overwhelming stench of stale, musty cigarettes. Before we could put our bags down we noted small bugs or bug carcasses on every wall and ceiling. Not just 1 or 2 but probably 100 or more throughout. The air conditioner looked old and that we would be breathing it’s black mold through out the night. The bathroom was dirty and full of what appeared to be mildew like film. The toilet would not flush anything down. The bedding was pulled down to reveal some dark staining in the sheets. Unknown what they were. The room to say the least was not clean and appeared they did not care if it’s state with bugs and all. My wife and I went for a very long walk to discuss our dilemma as the staff did not speak English and we could not stay in these conditions with bugs through room. We are not wanting the 5 star with turndown service but did not want the company of insects in the walls. We decided to just pay for another hotel, walk back and pack up. When we returned we thought we would Just try the pool area as it indicted in Agoda as world class. We did find a very large pool that looked clean but not skimmed for sometime. The pool was like a polar bear swim cold. We looked for the “ hot spring bath” or snooker but when we passed the front desk in lobby and went down the hall to look they yelled something in Thai and felt could go down the hall to these options. If they were even there. Upon leaving and turning our key over to staff only hours after checking in. I showed them pictures I took of the bugs and insisted this was the issue with the room. The front desk woman called to another staff member. Again I showed them the photos of bugs and that we were checking out as this was not good. They did not seemed bothered by this and said good bye to us. Please stay away from this outdated and unclean hotel. Save the money. For around half the price we stayed at a clean place of CPS.
