Buri Beach Resort

A nice resort near Haad Rin beach. We came for the full moon party. The resort has nice pools and the staff were very friendly. We had a 2 bed room and it was comfy. Although the room looked dated, it was good to stay in for the couple days that we remained. Laundry service was available across the street, which was convenient. 7 Eleven was also very close by if you wanted snacks, drinks, or any thing that a convenience store offers. There was a TV in the room with a few channels, it’s all that you need to be honest, no one is coming here to watch TV. You can rent scooters all over the island in case you plan on doing so. Please keep in mind, that if you do rent a scooter to wear your helmets because police will stop you and give you a ticket (approx 500 Baht). We walked to restaurants and to Haad Rin beach on the night of the full moon party so all that you need to do is definitely in walking distance if you are willing to walk. We rented scooters to drive off towards further distances to explore the island. Just so you know the Phaeng Waterfall was dried up, there was not much to see but the hike was nice. No major waterfall, perhaps it was not the season for it, the lady working there was nice enough to give us a heads up that the water fall at that time of year was less than usual. Compared to the hostels on the island, Buri beach resort offered the privacy we wanted, although dated in the room, the actual resort with the pools is nice. We were a group of 3 and we enjoyed our room and all that was around Buri Beach Resort. If you plan on coming to this island for the full moon party or in general and want your privacy and still have fun, I recommend Buri Beach Resort. Thanks for hosting us Buri Beach Resort.

We spent one night here for the fullmoon party. Everywhere else was fully booked and Sonia didn't gave up on us and looked for a room for us in the resort. She treated us super kindly and made our time here very cozy and welcoming. Super recommended resort in Koh Pangan !!

I wouldn’t call this a resort it’s an overpriced hostel. Rooms are pretty rundown and gross. They ask for a large cash deposit when you arrive and will only return it if you don’t get paint on anything or damage the room. The surrounding area is pretty sketchy where as the actual hostels were located in nicer small towns even though they were a slightly farther walk from the full moon party. I would only recommend this place if you’re just looking for somewhere to throw your bags while at the party if you’re looking for a nice hotel spend your money else where there’s ton of nicer areas on the island for much much cheaper. Also it looks nothing like the photos.
