Mae Haad Beach View Resort

During our day tour we landed here to spend some time. Their beachfront restaurant was very good. It was overlooking famous Mae Haad Beach where one can view sea being divided in two parts. This sight was amazing. The restaurant and beach was full of tourists who were having a great time.

simple and clean rooms. very nice staff and nice owner khun oi. i really liked staying here. nice beach and nice water. white sand. not noisy. well priced. cant wait to come back thank you good weather to. please note i used google maps to find this place, be well aware the track aka road leading to this place is for advanced motorcycle drivers, you can walk though, well worth the effort

I stayed in the beach front bunglow for 3 nights. was expecting more to be honest. To get to the bungalows you need to walk quite a long way along the beach which is a bit of an inconvenience. They don't seem to have a front entrance. You then cross a rickety bridge over some suspect water which runs along the front of the property (some of the pics are old and do not show this) The lady on reception is the moodiest person I have come across on my travels. Hardly spoke. Just a miserable face. Everything seemed like too much effort for her. Slow and just not interested. Wouldn't accept card payment. Just plain rude. Her Husband (at a guess) on the other hand was pleasant and always said hello. They have the word 'Resort' in the title but there is nothing else on offer. just your room. There are a couple of beach bars and restaurants along the beach. Bungalow was average, bit of the ceiling in the bathroom missing and patched with cardboard. Aircon worked. Shower was cold, bedding didn't fit properly and kept coming off. Full size fridge/freezer which was noisy at night. No cleaning offered The place is only redeemed by the view from lazing in the hammock on the porch
