Artrium Resort Koh Samui

I stayed here for 10 nights and chose it mostly because its located at a quieter area and because of the price - it was quite hard to find a non-shared room at a beachfront place for less than USD 15, especially a a/c one. I got the Single Bungalow and found it very comfortable and spacious. This place is new so everything looks clean and well kept. There's a double bed with a firm-but-comfortable mattress and nice pillows, and a giant towel probably meant for the beach. The a/c, minibar (with 2 complimentary 0.5L bottles of water) and flat screen TV (many channels, but just in Thai, I don't know if it can be changed on the TV settings) all worked really well. The shower was hot and the water pressure was good. There's a coat stand inside and hanger stand for drying clothes outside, very convenient. Although not a beach front resort, Bang Por beach is a mere cross of road away. It's a nice stretch of soft sand, with clean clear warm waters for swimming despite the slimmy bottom. They also rent motorbikes at Fairyland which is very convenient to explore the island. Staff is kind and every two days I was asked if I needed the room to be cleaned. They provided me with the transfer to the airport and the price was about the same as in the Navigo app, 500 baht. There's a 7-Eleven 500m away and in front of the 7 Eleven is Som's Restaurant, delicious seafood and Thai dishes at very affordable prices! For the price and comfort, I'd say it's a great deal!

very nice for the price. beds are comfy, a/c in perfect position. Tv with alot of good channels (watched mui thai for hours) underrated hotel for sure. location is not the best but they offer thier own moterbike rental.

We stayed here the first two night on Koh Samui. Only ten minutes in taxi from Nathon Pier. The rooms are new, and quite basic with good a/c. Being new there isn't much in the way of gardens yet. It's straight across the road from a beach( about 2km long), which is quite a pleasant walk. Swimming is good at high tide, but at low tide the sand is a bit muddy under foot, due to a lack of wave action. 7/11 a few hundred metres away, and some small restaurants around close. Very quite area, but good and cheap if that's what you are looking for. Staff are welcoming and friendly
