Booked 3 nights on Agoda. Hotel just off main road and about 30 mins walk from Pralarn pier. The "reception" is a very messy office on the street usually empty. There is a number to call and someone will come but couldn't work out if he understood English. There is no restaurant or anywhere for breakfast. There is a 3 story block and some bungalows with good off-street parking and a rear garden area. My room 404 was on 2nd floor and quite spacious with a separate kitchenette and large bathroom. Good hot water shower, fridge and water heater. Good aircon and comfortable queen bed, good WiFi and a nice balcony. Some traffic noise. About 10 minutes walk to a large 7-11, a good evening market for fruits and food. About 10 minutes walk to the beach. Whilst there were no frills, the hotel was comfortable and very good value.

I stayed at Kanlaya park for 10 days. The hotel has a great location to get access to the neighborhood around - with the walking distance to the beach, convenient stores, cafe, local restaurants, fresh market and night market. The room is clean and cozy. I had a wonderful time here and got everything I need with the help from the friendly staffs, e.g. the suggestions for nearby gyms and how to travel around. I will definitely go back again when I need the cozy-convenient stay like home nearby the sea that worth my budget!

Good value for the price but very very basic. Good location. Lots of parking for cars and motorcycles. Just okay WiFi - kind of spotty. I don’t really understand why they offer a tv when not 1 single channel was in English. So we couldn’t watch any TV for the duration of our 10 night trip. And since the WiFi was spotty, internet was spotty as well. Lots of restaurants and very close to the night market and beach. Large kitchen with kettle and sink and mid size refrigerator. They also offered drinks and snacks to purchase. They have 2 free bottles of water everyday along with replenishing the toilet paper, towels and maid service everyday. Very very nice people.
