🚨 THIEF ALERT – KHWAN BEACH RESORT ⚠️ Please be very careful with your valuables if staying at Khwan Beach Resort. Money was stolen from our tent villa during the daytime while we were away. The incident was extremely upsetting and made us concerned about the security of the accommodation. Having money taken from inside a private villa or belonging is still extremely concerning. Even more worrying, we’ve later discovered other guests report similar incidents which seem to keep happening at the resort. ⚠️ If you’re staying here, keep your valuables securely locked away, stay vigilant and ask the resort about their security arrangements.

☹️ Our stay at Khwan Beach Resort in Mae Nam ended on an extremely disappointing note. Shortly before checking out, we discovered that personal belongings had gone missing from both of our rooms, including jewellery and a camera. This completely overshadowed what should have been the final, relaxing stop of our nearly three-week journey through Thailand. What made the situation even worse was the response from the staff and reception. Rather than taking our concerns seriously or offering meaningful assistance, we felt our complaint was dismissed. We were essentially told that it was not their responsibility, with little effort made to investigate or address what had happened. Based on our experience, we left feeling that our belongings were not safe and that our concerns were not treated with the seriousness they deserved. We cannot recommend staying here and would strongly encourage other travellers to exercise caution and keep a close eye on their valuables. Our wonderful trip through Thailand ended with a very bitter experience, and that is what we will remember most about this stay

scam. Very disappointed with the stay. They portray as a luxury resort however theres nothing luxury about it. The bedding and all the furniture was very dirty AC didn’t work properly. Pool was full of bugs and leaves when we arrived, they didn’t come clean it until the next day. Too many mosquitoes in and out of the room There’s no proper reception, feels like you’ve come to a village rather than a “luxury resort” On top of that there was a lizard in a bathroom/sicnk area. We asked for a refund as soon as we got there however it was refused so we had to stay till the end. I’m so sad for all the money wasted
