Lamoon Lamai Residence

The rooms face the main street with crazy traffic and loud music until the middle of the night. The hotel and the furniture are dilapidated, the cleanliness is minimal (stinking towels, cockroaches, strong sewer smells). Rooms, bungalows not made regularly. The reception is incredibly authoritarian and incorrect. We had requested a quiet room for 15 nights 3 months previously. The first five nights were unbearable even with the windows closed. We had to cry to move to a quiet bungalow at the back in the courtyard/parking lot for 10 nights. Despite our complaint to the hotel, no gesture of compensation was granted to us. A big thank you to Mr. Jokenley M. (booking.com customer service) for having reimbursed us (on the hotel's account) the price difference between the bungalow and the room for which the price paid was higher. Also note that access to the beach will soon no longer be possible because all the resorts are blocking the way. TO FLEE !

I have been staying at some very smart but overpriced hotels on this trip and finally settled on this charming but no frills family run bungalows resort right on the beach Road, one minute walk to the beach. Husband and wife owner were very caring.

Had horrible experience with them, Once I got there after getting confirmation email from agoda.com They said they are fully booked and it is Agoda's issue so they can't do anything about it and told me to walk around and find different places without giving any solution of the situation, they didn't want to cancel the booking from their side for them to put the reason of overbooking. Rude and sarcastic talk about the traveller's not planning second option and travelling. I really do not recommend this place to anyone, the owner and his wife are not at all appropriate in communication.
