Panalee Koh Samui Resort

We loved this smaller, quiet, lovely resort. We stayed in the deluxe double room with pool access. The room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The pool was a little cooler than the main pool area as there was less direct sunlight. We enjoyed the main pool area which included a bar with great cocktails and juices. The staff member who served us daily was a lovely person. Breakfast in the restaurant right on the beach was lovely each morning. Thank you to all the staff in the restaurant and in the Resort for their friendliness and help with whatever we needed. A special thank you to Keng who made our stay comfortable and memorable with his friendliness and happy demeanour each day. There were plenty of great restaurants nearby which was a bonus. The shuttle bus to Bophut Village was a perfect addition to our stay. We would highly recommend this Resort for a relaxing holiday

If you do not take into account that the hotel is not on the first line, then the location is very good: there is greenery all around, birds are singing, from the back side (from the common balcony) you can see the sunrise and the mountains. Unfortunately, on the other side there is also an abandoned hotel, which slightly spoils the beautiful picture. The rooms are spacious and bright. The room has almost everything you need: safe, hairdryer, TV, refrigerator, kettle with mugs, three towels per person, including beach towels, soap, shower caps (unfortunately there is no gel or shampoo), air conditioning is not noisy, the bed is quite comfortable. WiFi working - movies in the room on the second floor, watched without problems. The rooms are clean, cleaning every day. Of the minuses: the intrusiveness of the cleaning service: the “do not disturb” sign will not save you, everyone will just knock and then come in, and considering that there are reviews online about thefts at this hotel, it’s a little annoying, but everything worked out, and the second minus: what - it’s an ugly change house with rubbish on the territory, which spoils the whole view from the balcony)) The pool was clean, it was on the eve of the Chinese New Year: there were few people, everyone was quiet, the sun loungers in front of the pool were always free. Outside the hotels there are at least 10 cafes, including those open until late. Several 7-11's. An exchanger is within walking distance (to the right of the hotel) with a fairly standard exchange rate for the island, in the same direction there is a stall with fruit. There is also a massage parlor and shops with 🤙. Beach with a minimum number of people. There are several massage tents)) To the left (along the beach) is more crowded, because... there is a cafe with sunbeds, to the right there are several cafes without sunbeds, and then there are places for those who like to be alone. The sand is pleasant, almost snow-white, the water is clear, the waves are not strong. I rested in February during the waning moon: the low tides began at 10 o’clock, but they are not fast and you can swim and dive without problems until 15 o’clock (from 8 am to 1 pm is generally the ideal depth). There is no reef, but crabs, including blue ones, can be found, as well as pufferfish. Bottom line: the hotel is ideal for lovers of relaxation; if you need parties and night markets, then choose another area, this is not here.

Well maintained bungalows in a quiet setting. You can see this was once more of a resort style accommodation which has a sense of faded grandeur but we lived our stay. Bungalow was a good size, comfortable bed and fluffy towels. Choice of English and European tv channels - handy as it rained! Outdoor seating area overlooking the pool. Bungalows 16 and 17 have easy access to both pools. Lots of trees and birds. Beach and beach bars/restaurants across the road. Lovely staff. Early taxi to the airport organised without fuss and on time
