Currently staying at Promtsuk Buri (March), sea view room right in front of the beach. • Constant marijuana smell coming into the room from the beach — despite knowing that smoking in public areas is not allowed, hotel management ignores guest complaints and does nothing to improve comfort in rooms located on the first line with sea view • Only ONE power outlet in the room — makes charging phone and tablet very inconvenient (even had to use kettle on the floor) • Very green and beautiful territory, but no mosquito control at all — open bathroom means you are constantly attacked by mosquitoes, and it is impossible to enjoy the patio or relax while looking at the sea • Hot water only works in the sink — in the shower it is barely warm We paid extra for a sea view expecting comfort — instead got constant discomfort. Location is also very poor: the hotel is quite far from Lamai Beach, which makes finding restaurants and shops inconvenient. There are no proper tourist shops nearby. The beach itself is not suitable for swimming (grey, murky water, stones). Compared to Chaweng — completely different experience. Without a bike, you will feel stuck. Overall: waste of time and money. Would not choose again.

The location is great on beautiful Crystal beach. Yes you are between Lamai and Chaweng but only a short ride to both beaches. Picked up from airport we checked into garden room 15. Nice spacious terrace (sun loungers would be great!), great bed, clean and good tv with Netflix. Bali style bath room with spacious shower. Close to the road but very quiet indeed. Breakfast was good and you can choose whatever you want! Great! Coffee is good. Massage by Vibes excellent. The beach is very nice but gets crowded with day visitors. We thought the atmosphere was relaxed and great swimming. Room for improvement? The staff at breakfast could do better. Seems like they are not enjoying their jobs. Besides that, would definitely return and can only recommend this wonderful property on Samui!

This great little resort is located on the most beautiful beach! We spent five nights here. We had a Seaview bungalow which had an amazing view. The gardens are lovely and so well kept. Staff are friendly and efficient. We enjoyed the daily a la carte breakfast and had a couple of other excellent meals at the beachfront restaurant. Cocktails were good and well priced. Rooms cleaned very well on a daily basis. We loved the outdoor shower! Would definitely return 😃
