Q Signature Samui Beach Resort

Was a little off the main road, but worth it to us. Good ambiance, great staff, gorgeous rooms and great amenities. Worth if you want to relax but still see a few people around. We would definitely go back here again.

Had a great relaxing time, the staff and locals are extremely friendly, the whole of Samui is very easy to navigate. The food is absolutely amazing, some of the very best beaches in the world, I can't wait to take my family back to Samui.

This was the venue, called The Peninsula Samui at that time, that was our 'home' venue in the Q Signature Time Share organisation and we had been going there for over fifteen years. Being part of the Club we were able to use our points at several hundred places all around the world. However, we chose to mainly stay at this our 'home' Resort. Over the years, as with most places in Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia etc etc., the weather takes its toll and the resorts become tired and in need of renovations. We found that the Q Signature Samui Beach Resort did not receive the care and attention it needed and it dropped from four and a half stars to what we would consider, probably two and a half stars. Such a pity as the location on the peninsular is second to none and it has a lovely little beach close by, just across a small stream and a short stroll along the beach, with a few other quality Resorts, bars and beach restaurants. Thankfully, much quieter than the Chaweng Beach area The last time we booked to go to the Q Signature Resort, three years ago, we arrived only to find that we had no booking and that the Q Signature was no longer a part of the Time Share group we belong to. After showing our booking confirmation and with a lot of arguing, they managed to put us up on the other side of Koh Samui at another of our Time Share venues. Needless to say, we were very annoyed and disappointed not to be staying on the east coast where most of the action is. My advice to anyone thinking of going to Q Signature Samui Beach Resort is to look closely at the comments recent residents have made. They may well have renovated the place by now and I hope that is so but I wouldn't be booking to stay there without taking heed of what other recent visitors have to say.
