Very disappointing experience, particularly due to the behavior of the staff and the hotel manager. This resort disregards Thai law by attempting to de facto privatize the beach, which is actually a public space. I personally witnessed an altercation where the staff and the manager tried to prevent people from outside the hotel from placing their towels on the sand, using inappropriate language ("get out") and fallacious arguments (notably invoking alleged risks to "guest safety"), without any legal basis. An unacceptable attitude from a hotel establishment. This place is to be avoided.

Do not let the sign at the entrance fool you, which states that customers who are not staying at the hotel can pay for access to the pool for 500 or 800 THB. We paid for the most expensive option, ordered very expensive food and drinks at the pool bar, and the moment we tried to get into the water, an employee yelled at us publicly that the beach pool was "exclusive to hotel guests." They made us feel like common criminals in front of everyone because of a detail they deliberately hid. It turns out that the paid access only gives you entry to a hidden pool in the back, very far from the beach: a real scam that they patiently omitted from their sign. Charging exorbitant prices for a misleading service is serious enough, but subjecting paying customers to public humiliation is intolerable. To top off the hypocrisy, while the staff was busy yelling at us, they completely ignored a hotel guest who was flying a camera drone directly over people in swimsuits. Flying a drone without the two required administrative permits is totally illegal in Thailand and a flagrant violation of privacy, but the staff did not seem to care at all. Save your money and your dignity: avoid this place completely.

Beautiful resort located on sharkbay where you can see a shark and turtle with luck. The resort seems to be being renewed but is not fully finished. In addition, lots of stairs! Not suitable for disabled people.
