Namhasin House

Very disappointing experience at Namhasin House. The pillows were mouldy, the room looked nothing like the photos or description, and the staff were unhelpful when we raised our concerns. The situation became so difficult that we had to get Booking.com involved. We ended up checking out early and did not stay because we were so uncomfortable with the condition of the accommodation. Overall, this was a very poor experience and not what we expected. I would avoid staying here and look elsewhere

A really nice place close to one of the most beautiful beaches of thailand (shark bay) if you ask me. This place has the best and beautiful iced coffee’s made by the man of the couple, the women does the administation and she rocks it. The rooms and bathrooms are not that clean and a bit old but everything works like it should :) i was happy to stay here!

The rooms are okay(fridge, hot shower, fan) but the bathroom has no Windows and so it smells and the heat cant get out-> therefore the room stays always hot (even compaired to the hot weather outside) They clean your room once a week and the bed itself isnt the best (for me its ok but i think some ppl would have an issue with that). The electric isnt working good too, many times no electricity (tgey told us everywhere but i asked other friends and they didnt had any issues so many times) Didnt eat at the restaurant bc the prices are way to high for thailand, so i wouldnt recommend to pay 4-5dollar for food (but i hear the food should be good though) The owner seemed to be fake nice in my opinion and i never felt really welcomed. For me she seemed greedy, bc after couple weeks she sad there is no toilet paper anymore we need to buy ourselfs(was during the covid time) even tough i checked at the supermarkets and there were plenty of it. Also after we stayed 1month already, the fare of the room for 2 more weeks went up and they wanted to charge us 10dollars for late check out, even though there were no tourists anyway on the island and whole of her hotel is empty anyway(normally i understand if u charge for late check out, but if there is no other tourist coming on the island i would be more nice to my guests. Also i told her that my gf us sick but that didnt seem an issue, so we went to a friends place and left our luggage there until the (only bc of covid) night ferry is leaving) Finally we stayed the two more weeks at the place(mainly bc my gf was sick and so we didnt want to move) I would say the rooms are okay, but i personally think for that price u can get better places and definetly more welcoming ones. Finally i wont stay there again next time for sure
