This hotel is incredible, location is perfect to access many beaches, the view point and the 360 view bar. The staff are so lovely and helpful and they have their own taxi service which is very helpful. The food was incredible as well. Only a short walk into town. I would not recommend this hotel if you aren't very fit though, as there are many many steps down to the rooms - but you're right on a cliff front, so it's to be expected.

Local resort in reasonable price! I visited there for three nights and It worths every penny. Location was not in the center like Sairee beach but if you have a bike, it won't bother you. Very easily access to shark bay and you can dive or snorkeling in front of the resort. I was there in rainy season and I just snorkeling without no plan but I still found a bug turtle. This place has a really high chance to witness them. (Glad that I rented a go pro from the resort. I forgot the price maybe 700THB or around that depends on the model as well) This place suit couple travelers and group of friends. If I will go back to Koh Tao, you'll be one of my choices

Stayed in the good sea view V3 bungalow. The bungalow was in need of some repair, the bathroom shower works but cannot adjust height fixed in one position. We found cockroaches in the bathroom, the whole bathroom needs updating. On a few occasions because the shower gets half the bathroom wet, we slipped on a the wet slippy floor. It is a 2 person room, the view is spectacular, can’t fault it. But the outside space has 2 high chairs and one wooden bench with no real cushions to make it more comfortable and lack of space.the bed was hard. The air con very loud but does work and can leave it on while your out which was beneficial. The lock on the door is a padlock, when your inside you can only lock it with a slide lock which isn’t secure, can be opened in under 2 seconds when the lock was on from the inside by using a spoon! I would advise bringing a chain with you so that you can lock the door from the inside using the padlock. You also have to leave the key with reception for them to service your room every day. Which is a pain because you have to climb up all the steps to give them the key to go all the way back down to go the beach/sea. Breakfast was basic buffet and poor quality. We are not by any means fussy but there was definitely a lot of room for improvement. It consisted of 2 cereals, white bread, egg, sausage, small pancakes and some Thai stir fry’s. I had to use my own t bags as they didn’t supply black tea. They charge 300bahts to hire the kayak for an hour, at the next beach (freedom) they only charge 100b for the hour. We found snorkelling at freedom beach better but it may be due to prevailing wind direction making sharks bay a little choppier for less experienced. Less coral as well. We did however see turtles in sharks bay, and a big puffer and also 3 sharks. We saw a shark and turtles in freedom bay on several days. Plus lots of other fish and corals. The beach is very small and gets packed and has a beach bar that plays music till the night. Freedom beach is nicer had has deckchairs but you have to pay 50b per person. Storage in the bungalow, set of 3 drawers and one single drawer also a cupboard but no shelves in it. Basically no where to store clothes. Given coat hangers that are on a towel rail in the bathroom. Nothing near the shower to store shampoos, soaps etc, either had to use the floor or put on the sink. There is a beach bar that is close to the bungalow that plays loud music during the day and until late evening. Location is not central, we did not want to hire mopeds as we saw a lot of people injured from riding them. It’s about 10/15 min walk to the nearest area that has places to eat and a seven eleven. Overall a decent stay, but if I had to choose again I wouldn’t stay there.
