Khao Sok Smiley Lakehouse

We had two fantastic days at the Lake House of Smiley. Guide TikTok and his colleagues make something beautiful of it, with a lot of humor and at the same time caring and attention to details. The food there is delicious, plenty of free time for swimming and canoeing, and the trips to the cave and waterfalls are worth it. The cottages with air conditioning are blissful; slept wonderfully 😊.

We booked the 2-day, 1-night tour a week before our departure. We were delighted from beginning to end. Very warm welcome from the first morning. Transfer to the pier by minivan then a good hour by boat to arrive at the floating bungalows. The meals were very decent, the 3 excursions nice, the guide Kit Kat super kind and smiling. He bends over backwards to please. The rooms offer good comfort with kayaking possible, plenty of free time to rest as well and enjoy the place. The next day, return to the village. We were even graciously lent a room to shower and rest before our departure for the night train. All with a smile. For us, it is a great success. Thank you

The place is fantastic we had booked the 3 day tour at smiley, is a bit mass is box office if you like that fine but not our thing. The accommodation is primitive, even the type B "new" bungalow, where we paid 900 bath pp extra. This is definitely not recommended
