Mok Fah Sai Resort

The whole place is run down. A bungalow for 2 is not more worth than 1200-1400 baht/night. A lot of nature, not to far from the main road. The service is not careful at all. Breakfast not Thai, not continental, not worth to talk about.

If you like jungle, this is the right place. My friend booked this place accidentally. Even it's the good landscape and good design but to me I don't like this place. They are not really look like what in the pictures. The cottage is good inside but outside isn't. All wooden furniture and structure ain't look stable to me. Surrounding is not maintained. The place is around 30 minutes far from town. Hide away in the hill. It's overprice, with this price, you can choose to stay in good hotel in town with all amenities. This hotel doesn't even provide hair dryer However, the staff is helpful.

Beautiful grounds, extremely tranquil, quiet and refreshing--beautiful lotus pond, rose gardens, large park, clean rooms and shower facilities. English was not a problem for us as the owner was also on site for Songkran, but other staff did not appear comfortable at all in English. The restaurant is in a beautiful setting. Recall this resort is in quite a rustic setting, very close to nature--we had no issues inside of the rooms but outside all around you will find bees, ants, everything. It is nestled interior to a mountain range with jungles all around. Excellent place to stay if you intend to explore the surrounding national parks, which are beautiful and quite challenging. The restaurant did not have a menu, items were listed orally, buffet at breakfast included coffee/tea, bread and jam, tasty rice soup, fresh fruit, and the staff offered a la carte items (also orally, no menu). We were satisfied but an English language menu would have been perfect. For the right price, this resort is well worth the drive.
