I booked for two weeks on the Hillside section of the hotel. I got such a good price that I didn’t even consider staying at the Seaside. But the Seaside part is freely available for you to use (that’s where the breakfast is) and the pool is just stunning. The Hillside pool is very nice too. On the Hillside there are no lifts so if mobility is a problem be sure to book ground floor rooms. My bedroom was very quiet and a very good size. Dated? Not really, and scrupulously cleaned every day. I walked up the Main Street every day to access the proper beach, an easy 10 minute walk. There is no beach in front of the hotel but the sun beds and the pool were very popular with the guests. I liked this hotel so much that I extended my stay, which really says it all.

Nice hotel directly overlooking the water (note, overlooking the water, there is no beach) Sister hotel on the opposite side of the road with mountain views. Great pool looking out to the sea. We had a room with sea view within a large building overlooking bungalows, the room is a nice size, king size bed, safe, desk, bathtub separate shower and toilet. A couple of minor gripes about the rooms, toilet and shower rooms are way too small, mattress and pillows are way too hard. Breakfast is ok and a few options to be had every day (thai food was the best option) egg / bacon station though fried eggs and bacon are always prepared in advance meaning they are cold when served (need to ask for fresh cooked eggs and warmed up bacon on the hot plate. Cold baked beans in bowl!) Hotel has a coffee shop, but it was never open and looked as if it had been shut for a while. Location is really good and plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Opposite side of the road there are a bunch of beer bars (girly) if that's your thing. We never had issues at night with noise, this was a surprise. Overall, would I stay again, YES. It's a nice, cheap hotel perfect for families and couples
