Rayang Phurin Resort

Everything is run down, in fact the place is a ruin that which is characterized by many years of neglect, and the sad truth that nobody bother to do anything about it. The room (a small hut) was very dirty, there was feces on the toilet seat, and ants everywhere. The restaurant was dirty everywhere, especially the floor. The service is non existing, and the staff seems like they are stoned or half asleep. We didn't really sleep because of rats in the room, and drunk Russians shouting all night. We had booked for 5 nights but ended up leaving after one night. They charged us for all 5 nights, even after we reported feces on toilet seat and rats in room, that is plain rude. The worst part was that nobody cared. We have never felt less welcome. This is not the paradise they advertise it to be. Our advise is to go as a day tourist if you MUST go there at all.

If you seek a little paradise with a beautiful beach and clear water, you got time and not being in a rush, Koh Rayang will be the perfect place for you. Perfect for families with children, because it's an privat island with only one resort on it. Perfectly save to let run children's around. The bungalows are very simple but clean equipped with a ventilator. Power is available from 6pm to 6am. There is a place to enjoy snorkeling as well as fishing, kayaking and other activities. The food is tasty and affordable. All in all just a great place to relax and forget the daily stress back home. We do come every year again and every time we looking forward for the next visit

This is such a nice little island! The accomondation is really basic, but I really like it. The staff is awesome, so nice and friendly and the service is terrific! Breakfast is very good, you get to choose from a menu. No sandflies on the beach. Wifi is really slow and is only for like an hour every day, but it's nice to get a pause. If you want peace and calm, this is the place to be!
