Sedhapura By Tohsang Hotel

I stay there in March 2011, good place, great view on Mekong river, excelent service and food. Small resort with 4 houses. Each house has small pool in front. You realy stay in middle of nowhere, a lot insect including snake on our terrace. Not security on entrance on night time is provided, No proper swiming pool, no gym. Swiming pool in neigboor place is under construction. Price 500USD/night is absolutely overrated for Essan part of Thailand, even for all Thailand. Not thinking I will come back again.

Stayed 2 nights during long weekend in May 2011. There are only 4 maekong view pool villas in this beautiful properties. Room is nice decoration, but outside bathroom is not great. Food is delicious especially breakfast. Private pool is very small. We are also using spa, boat excursion and airport transfer service which is reliable and peaceful. Overall, we have good break and relax, but not feel that we have to travel this far to enjoy.

We just came back from a very pleasant stay at Sedhapura, didn't expect such a beautiful small hotel in the area. The view was spectacular, the food and service was fantastic. Sethapura offers only 4 exclusive units, and the one bedroom villa we chose is very large and nicely decorated, easily accommodate a family of 3 or even 4. Bathroom has a bathtub and an outdoor open-air shower which was just perfect after the day trips. Each villa also has a private small pool. The owners were there to not only meet and greet their guests, they also cooked some nice home-made dishes for us. We walked over to the nearby Tohsang Kongjiam Resort ( larger, affiliated hotel) for both dinners and breakfast. Buffet breakfast was very creative with wide selections of local dishes and that of western style. Even if there are lots of nice trips to do in the area, the hotel itself is a great destination, their spa service was also superb, the coconut oil body massage was heavenly. We'd love to go back there again next year.
