Laico Hotel Hammamet

Could not fault this hotel. Its stunning. Our room was recently refurbished and decorated so lovely. Lots of choice at meals. Drinks options are good. All staff could not do enough for us. The service was excellent across all staff areas. Yes tips help but equally the service was impressive. The pool life guards are super helpful in organising beds for you. Bar tenders bring you drinks without asking and keep them topped up. The restaurant staff were super helpful. Animation team are brilliant and great fun. A fabulous time was had by us. Reception teams answer all questions and the cleaners do a brilliant job. We enjoyed Tunisia. Location is perfect too. Right by the beach and the mariner

The worst experience ever, I don’t know from where this hotel is getting good reviews but I would rate this hotel maximum 2 stars. Front desk staff is rude and absolutely unhelpful. We came to the hotel early and waited until 2pm to check in. When we went up to see our room only to discover that one of our beds had no bedding at all ( was group of 3 friends) there was dirt and hair in several places , on the floor in bathroom and in the fridge. We went back to speak to reception and we were getting no where , after we called supervisor who shocked us even more. She didn’t even want to speak to us and told front desk staff to sort it out coz she has headache. After almost 40 min of fighting we managed to get another room but it was also filthy. When we went to the main restaurant for lunch on several occasions we seen dirty plates and cutlery that’s being given to us . Once I had hair in my fork , honestly I can write so much more this is the worst hotel I ever been

The hotel is very nice, there are two pools, one with sea water which is cool. The service is perfect and the reception is kind and flexible, the aquagym animation is great especially the animators are awesome, especially Baloo and Wael
