I don’t usually write reviews but I think this 1 is needed, we wasn’t expecting 5* treatment we knew exactly what was getting which was basic self catering, but it was less than basic, we had no microwave 1 old hob that cut out any any moment then come back on, we never had a room cleaned the whole week we was there no towels no nothing and when said they couldn’t understand and none spoke English until it come to paying for the air conditioning to which then i couldn’t understand there language, and didn’t pay as felt it was the least we deserved from them after no cleaning at all, the pool area was never touched same rubbish by the pool all wk also Please avoid it’s not up to a standard it should be for basic holiday

My experience was bad. Mouldy shower. Dirty taps, many defects..no bar, no umbrellas at pool. Even though this was in the description when I booked with travel agent. Is deception. We had booked half board at description was a la carte but reality was different. 1 tonne breakfast and supper consisted of children's portions. Already filed a complaint with the travel company. This has to be closed. Is not hygienic on the 12 days we were there is only once cleaned.

Spent 2 weeks in a self catering room on the third floor with a sea view & we enjoyed one of our favourite holidays here! Some say the hotel is tired, I think it exudes an old school Turkish charm. Our rep messed up the time of one of our trips and although the staff don’t speak English they tried so hard to help me and rang him on their phone. A library of books is in the reception where there is also a great free Wi-Fi connection so I could still work when necessary. The pool was professionally cleaned by an outside company every morning & evening. It was so clean it was a pleasure to swim in. Couldn’t get my kids out of it. Conveniently located - a short walk from the beach. Promenade so pretty ! Beautiful authentic Turkish fish Restaurant if you turn right (only Turkish people eat there - they were surprised we found it). Closest restaurant is the reggae bar / restaurant on the seafront which is best for vibe & value locally. 10-15 min walk takes you into the main throng of the city or a 4euro taxi. Also only a short commute for eftalia waterpark (give the closer one a miss), the big hamam spas, where the pirate party ships are docked and paragliding. Fully recommend the pink panther trip too although it’s further to travel to. I would return in a heartbeat! Great value for money on our humble opinion.
