Just back from another amazing stay at Xanadu Resort and it's been as good as ever. This year we have introduced friends to the hotel for their first experience and they have been blown away.
Our room on the third floor was lovely with a stunning view of the pool and the sea beyond, the cleaning team did an amazing job and we even received a turn down service every night and clean bath towels every day also a lovely welcome gift. Throughout the stay the food has been amazing, as good as it's ever been in our opinion we also dined in the Turkish restaurant (twice) and the Italian and enjoyed the meals. We alternated our day time between the Antique pool and the Secret Garden pool and both were great although the Garden definitely offers a quieter option we also spent time down on the pier which is lovely especially with the sea breeze. Entertainment was good and we made full use of all the bar facilities. For us where this hotel excels is it's amazing staff, they all work so hard to ensure your experience is the best it can be but there are some who go above and beyond and I would just like to highlight their performance during our stay. Mohammed & Emre the rollerblading waiters around the pools, Esra Kucukeking and Asya Bulut in the lobby bars, Nazym in the beach cafe who looked after us on numerous visits, Bahadir Tosik (Bar Captain) and Ismail Cetintas in the Rosebud Bar and finally the superstar that is Golnaz who we have known for the past three years, she greeted us like long lost family on the night we arrived and is just so friendly and bubbly. These are the people who make our holiday special

At this point, I’m genuinely struggling to understand where the five stars are coming from.
We’ve only just arrived, and unfortunately the hotel has been disappointing from the very beginning.
We specifically paid extra for a sea-view room, only to be offered a room on the first floor where, as the receptionist himself admitted, you could barely see the sea. Only after we made it clear that this wasn’t acceptable did they somehow manage to find a room on the second floor and start preparing it for us.
While we waited, we sat at the lobby bar for about 20 minutes. Not a single waiter came over. No one asked if we wanted a drink, no one acknowledged us — nothing. We were also told to wait “10 minutes” for the room, but after those 10 minutes passed, nobody came to update us. We eventually had to go back to reception ourselves and ask.
Then came the blanket situation, which honestly became almost comical.
We asked for an extra blanket at around 4 PM. By 6 PM, nothing had arrived, so we went downstairs and reminded reception. By 8:30 PM, still nothing. We asked again. And again. Almost five hours later, at around 8:40 PM, someone finally showed up — with what looked more like a throw or a bedspread than an actual second blanket.
At that point, we simply didn’t have the energy to call reception for what would have been the sixth time over a blanket. In the end, they brought a decent blanket, after all.
Service at Xanadu Bar during snack time wasn’t much better. One of our dishes was simply forgotten, and we had to remind the staff twice before we finally got it.
The room itself is fine, but very basic for a hotel positioned at this level. The TV is dated, the water pressure is surprisingly weak, and the air conditioning doesn’t cool the room particularly well. Even the toiletries feel cheap — random colorful liquids that are definitely not what I’d expect from a proper five-star property.
What surprised me the most, though, was what happened when the housekeeping staff finally brought the blanket.
They knocked on the door, but opened it almost immediately without really giving us a chance to answer. My husband asked them to wait, but they had already entered the room while I was undressed.
It was a very uncomfortable situation and definitely not something I would expect at a hotel of this level. I completely understand that staff need access to the rooms as part of their job, but I do think guests should be given enough time to answer the door before anyone enters.

I can't recommend this hotel / resort highly enough and we will 100% be returning in the future. It was a stunning 10 days holiday
Location - Fantastic, quiet resort location, with a nearly golf course on one side and sandy beaches and clean sea the other, its an oasis of tranquility.
As an all inclusive experience, it really is top quality. Branded drinks throughout and a selection of food on offer that was just exceptional. Fresh, tasty from the grill, salads, local foods, wider European foods, soups aplenty and just about every kind of bread, pastries and cakes you can think of. Honestly, just exceptional!
Special shout out to the staff - ALL the staff. Nothing was too much trouble, everything was done with a smile and they were not in your face or overbearing, they were just there, ready to assist with whatever you wanted/needed. Huge shout out to Murak at the bar, always smiling, always saying hello!
There is something for everyone at this resort - a range of daily activities if you want to be lively or a quieter pool if you just want to chill and take in the sun and have a swim. At night the entertainment starts with the team entertaining the younger guests, following this you could take in a show, watch a live band, relax at a quieter terrace area or spend some time at the indoor, peaceful piano bar - there really was something for everyone, whenever you wanted it. Brilliantly organised and executed by the animations team and its clear they take pride in what they offer.
The resort was superbly clean throughout and the staff took care to ensure it stayed that way throughout our stay. The pools were immaculately clean, the rooms were cleaned every day, the bathrooms were well stocked as was the free minibars in the room.
From start to finish, we really did receive the High Class experience we were promised. Add to this Marco, the resorts official cat and customer relations clerk/mascot, he was really cute and everyone loves him there!
