Palm D'or Hotel

The food was incredibly unhealthy; they even served fried food reheated and for four days. Meat is not a food that is constantly being heated and eaten. If you can't deliver on the price in terms of overall food quality, you might as well not serve any food at all. I don't recommend it. Even the tomatoes aren't fresh, it's awful.

I checked in on September 14th and stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. My general opinion is that the room and cleanliness were acceptable, the food was average; there were no meat dishes, only one meal consisted of meatballs fried from a small supermarket chain. The cleanliness was passable, and all drinks were served in plastic cups. So, considering the price and for those without high expectations, I can say it's sufficient. In fact, the week I stayed, there were mostly guests over 60 years old; it's a suitable hotel for elderly couples. I felt like I was in a retirement club. I will never forget the worst memory I have: when we wanted to bring water to the room in the evening, there was an unpleasant gentleman at the reception. I asked him, and he told me to bring a plastic bottle and fill it from the dispenser. When I said I didn't have a bottle, he directed me to a grocery store. This rudeness was completely unacceptable for a hotel that claims to be 4-star. The staff's behavior makes you feel like you're in a nursing home. Finally, I think this hotel doesn't deserve 4 stars at all.

Honestly, the reviews scared us, but we wanted to experience it. It wasn't bad; the rooms were clean, and the food and drinks had a sufficient variety. The fish and chicken tasted bad, but otherwise, we didn't go hungry. The desserts were good, but we couldn't eat the desserts in the glasses because they smelled of food. Overall, we liked it. Now, let's talk about the insufficient number of tables by the pool. There are very few tables, and people have to get up to sit down. Because there was no space, I had to take my dessert plate and sit on a sun lounger, and a staff member came and warned me that I couldn't eat there. No one warned the people sitting on other sun loungers; they were also eating there. I don't understand if they're giving preferential treatment. The number of tables should definitely be increased so people don't have to sit on sun loungers. The female staff were friendly, but the male staff didn't smile at all. There weren't any activities in the evenings, so it was a bit boring, but there are places to go out and explore. We evaluated it that way. The distance to the sea is a bit long, but it's enjoyable; the sea is very beautiful. Despite some minor issues, we had a lot of fun and a great holiday. It's a good value-for-money hotel. Would I go again? Yes, I will come again next year, God willing.
