Pirat

Fantastic hotel, our fifth visit and we will continue to return. Rooms are clean and serviced every day with fresh linen and towels, big thank you to the maids, they work so hard. A big thank you to Havva, always helpful and has become a great friend. She always goes above and beyond and nothing is too much trouble, Suda and Onur are great too! Bar staff at the pool are great fun, Reggae and Ahmed do a fantastic job, Great atmosphere and Reggae plays great music. A big thank you to Ozzy and Erdul, always so helpful and cheerful. Hotel situated by the harbour and all restaurants are within walking distance. Can’t wait to return in September.

Just waiting on taxi back to airport (unfortunately lol) This was our 2nd visit and generally find going back somewhere its not usually as good as before. However, not this time. I would say it was even better than the first time. I cannot recommend Pirat enough!! We only stayed 1 week but it was superb service from booking to leaving . All the staff were fantastic. Big shout 🙌 to Ozzy, Ahmed, Emri and Regge in the bar/restaurant and Havva in reception and Dudu for cleaning our room. All the hotel areas were very clean and staff continually cleaning and making sure everything was ok. All rooms are comfortable and have a/c so that was great in very high temperatures. Restaurants in Kalkan wonderful too. Never had a bad meal out (generally about £80/100 for 2 courses and a bottle of wine) you can eat ou cheaper so don't be put off with people saying prices high) Definitely return again.

Our fourth return to the Pirat and it was just as difficult to say goodbye this time as every previous year! We had rooms over-looking the pool this time, which were immaculately clean and tranquil, with delicious (almost silent) air-con. Shout out to the incredible mezze at the buffet (on Fridays) with countless bbq options - butterflied chicken breast, wings, kofte... The staff are without exception efficient, charming people who are obviously keen to make your stay special. The Pirat is a very unique part of Kalkan with incredible views across the harbour and against the backdrop of the Taurus mountains. You very much get the feeling it is the heart of the place and we always feel privileged staying there, this year being no exception. No notes! Just can't wait to get back!
